I have been inspired by three lovely women: My daughter Meghan, a woman I've never met, Barbara and my niece Michelle.
Meghan lives in Columbus, MS with her husband, James (a USAF pilot) and my perfect new granddaughter, Adalie. While Meg was pregnant she kept us all up-to-date with her pregnancy on her blog. We ALL loved and appreciated the updates since we couldn't be with her. Now we crave new postings to get a current glimpse of Adalie!
Last week I was surfing the net and came across Barbara's blog. Barbara is a 69 year old English woman with her own blog, Ramblings from an English Garden. Her blog is so beautiful and interesting...the pictures, her story, her travels...absolutely LOVE it! Anyone that knows me knows I'm obsessed with everything British. Upon communication with her, she asked "Do you have a blog?".
Just last night I was having dinner with Lily (my youngest daughter), my sister Melanie and niece Michelle. Michelle told me all about her new blog, thebeanbunch.blogspot.com and how she went about putting it together.
SOOO...here I am...with MY very own blog! A big thank you to all three of you amazing women, my inspiration. I will try to live up to your example of creativity, interest and beauty.

What a neat idea - great layout and pictures. And you learned how to do it without help! It reminds me of the Loew's commercial where three women are standing in front of the amazing project that one of them did by herself. They go round and round with, "Did YOU do that?" "I did that." "And that?" "And that." "That, too?" "That too." And, here you are, Lisa, working on a new project of your own! So, you did that?

When I started it was at the suggestion of my daughter and I never for one minute imagined where it would lead me. It is a wonderful hobby.
May I suggest that when sharing your blog address that you give it a link to make it easier for folk to get to it. It is also blog etiquette to add a link when mentioning other bloggers. Hope you find these comments helpful.
I checked out your Web page too and see that you have published a book. very interesting as I have been pressed to publish my story but so far have done nothing except write it for my blog.

Your picture of the rose and crystal brought back a sweet memory of when and where you purchased your lovely crystal. Since pink is my favorite color, it seems we have a generational thing going. What fun if it turns out to be Adalie's favorite, too.
